Well, it’s been awhile since I made any posts. Unfortunately, the BeQuiet power supply unit on my computer decided to blow up on me. For the last few weeks, I’ve been trying to get it replaced under warranty from TekHeads, but they’re dragging their heels on it. So, while the computer was down I decided to make some changes I’d been planning.
I’m getting the case internals powder-coated a matt black, by ChilledPC. I’m changing the tubing over to a red Primochill tube, same diameter. I’ve decided to ditch the aquastream pump, and change it for a Swifttech MCP655 I had lying around. I’m going all out on the cables, with a mixture of red and black braiding. As you can guess, I’m planning a red and black colour scheme.
The case panels are with Chilled PC at the moment, and once they get back I can start putting the computer back together. I’m changing the design of the loop as well – pictures will be coming soon!
